I run a company. Does my business structure affect my visa options? +
Yes — significantly, and often in ways that open more routes than you might expect. A US entity or a structured employer-employee arrangement between you and your company can create pathways that a purely individual self-petition cannot. We assess your corporate structure as part of the session — whether you have a US company already, are planning to form one, or your business operates entirely outside the US. In some cases, the way your company is structured is the difference between a strong case and a weak one.
I have never won a formal award. Can I still qualify for the O-1A or EB-1A? +
Very likely, yes. USCIS evaluates you against ten criteria for the EB-1A (three required) and eight for the O-1A (three required). Awards are only one of those criteria. The others include: a high salary relative to peers in your field, a critical role in a distinguished organisation, original contributions of major significance, media coverage of your work, membership in associations that require outstanding achievement, judging the work of others in your field, and authorship of published scholarly work. Most high-performing founders, executives, and senior professionals satisfy three or more of these without a single formal award. We assess exactly where you stand in the session.
How do I know if my salary qualifies as "high relative to peers"? +
USCIS does not set a fixed number — it compares your remuneration to others in your role and field using published wage data and industry surveys. For founders, this includes distributions, equity valuation, and comparable executive compensation, not just a payslip salary. We help you understand how your total compensation is framed and whether it meets the criterion. This is one of the most frequently overlooked qualifying criteria for founders and senior executives.
Can I pursue the O-1A and a green card at the same time? +
Yes — and for most people this is the recommended approach. The O-1A gets you into the US quickly on a temporary basis (typically 1–3 years, renewable). Concurrently, or shortly after, you file the EB-1A or EB-2 NIW I-140 petition for permanent residence. If approved, you can file for adjustment of status (I-485) to become a permanent resident without leaving the US. We map out this sequencing specifically for your timeline in the session.
I have been told by another firm that I do not qualify. Should I still book a session? +

How do I prepare for the session? +
After booking, we send you a short intake form covering your background — career history, credentials, any existing evidence, your business if applicable, and your US goals. You do not need to prepare a formal portfolio or gather documents before the session. Come with your questions and an honest account of your professional journey. The more context you give us in the intake form, the more specific and useful the session will be.
What counts as "evidence" for these visa categories? +
Evidence spans a wide range: press and media coverage of your work, speaking invitations at industry conferences, published articles or research, peer review or judging activity, letters of recommendation from recognised experts in your field, documentation of a high salary or equity stake, employment records showing a critical senior role, client contracts demonstrating reliance on your expertise, and original contributions — such as a product, methodology, or market you created. Much of this exists in your professional history already. The session helps you identify what you have, what USCIS will accept, and what needs to be documented more formally.
What exactly is the Strategy Call? +
It is a private, one-on-one session with a VeriPass consultant. We review your background, assess your strongest visa options, and map out a clear strategy for your US immigration journey. You receive a written summary after — your recommended pathway, timeline, and next steps — whether you continue with VeriPass or not.
Do I need to have a business to qualify for any of these routes? +
Not at all. Many strong immigration routes are based entirely on individual credentials and professional track record — no business required. That said, if you do have a business, there may be additional structured routes available to you that we will explore in the session. We look at the full picture and find the best fit.
I have already done a lot of research. Will this session add anything new? +
Almost certainly. The value here is not general information — it is a professional assessment of your specific profile.
